HOW IT GOES
Four parts, longer run.

Arrive & say hello
Come at least fifteen minutes early — enough time to say hi to every single dog, and to borrow warm jackets, boots or foot bags if you're missing anything. Free, of course.

Learn the sled
Your guide walks you through it before you set off — how to stand, how to brake, when to hold on. It's easier than it looks.

Run — 30 km
Thirty kilometres — forest, plateau, and the climb to Snørvillen, Sjusjøen's highest top. You steer, they pull — and you swap drivers along the way whenever you like.

The lavvu
Warm drinks, Norwegian bread twists and a good chat around the campfire, while the dogs collect their thank-yous.

Who can come
Adults and youth — it's a long day with our strongest dogs. Rather ride than steer? Sit on with your partner, or with a guide if you're travelling alone.
What to wear
Wool underneath is what matters. Missing a warm jacket, foot bags or mittens? Borrow ours — free, just arrive a little early.

Allergies
Tell us in advance — vegetarian and vegan lunches are no problem at all.
Getting here
Finnolkoia, 2610 Mesnali — two hours from Oslo, thirty minutes from Lillehammer. Weekend buses stop at Sjusjøen Skisenter, a 3 km walk from us: team up with fellow passengers, or call us if you're stuck and we'll try to find a solution.

GETTING HERE
Know the road before you drive.
Some roads to us are closed all winter — and GPS will happily send you onto them. Take two minutes to read the road description before you set out.

A warm lunch in the lavvu, usually moose burgers by the fire, is included in the price. Rather skip lunch? Just say so when you book, and the price drops by 250 kr.
