Terms and Privacy Policy.
The short version: book with confidence, tell us early if plans change, and we'll always try to find a solution. The details below apply to all tours and activities with Sjusjøen Husky Tours.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Changing or cancelling.
All cancellations must be made by e-mail to ida@huskytours.no. In line with Norwegian travel industry practice, the following fees apply:
Individuals — under 10 people
Free cancellation and full refund until 7 days before your day of arrival. 7 days or less: 50% fee. Less than 3 days: no refund.
Groups — 10 people or more
Free cancellation until 14 days before arrival. 14 days or less: 50% fee. Less than 7 days: no refund.
Changing your booking
You're free to move your reservation — just let us know as soon as possible, preferably more than 3 days before your tour.
Running late / no-show
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. Guides may start the tour without missing participants so the day isn't delayed for everyone else. If we can't fit you into another tour that day, it counts as a no-show and no refund is given.
If the weather turns
We run in most weather — it's part of the experience. Should conditions ever be too extreme, we contact you at least a day before and offer a new time, a new date or a refund. Same if the snow hasn't arrived in early December.

Payment
Online bookings are paid in full at the time of booking, securely by card. Summer activities are paid on the day — card or Vipps.
Your responsibility
Follow the instruction given before the tour — it's short, and it's mainly about how and when to slow down. Tours interrupted by a participant's own actions are not refunded.
Children
We recommend the 15 km tour from about age 7. Children aged 7 to 12 pay the child price; younger children are welcome and ride along free with an adult. Children under 13 ride on the sled while an adult steers, and cannot book without an adult.
Gift cards
Gift cards from us never expire — they're valid as long as we're running tours. Gift cards from third parties (like YouWish) must be used before their printed date.

PRIVACY · WHAT WE COLLECT
Only what the tour needs.
We collect as little as we can, use it only to run your tour, and never sell it. Here is the whole story.
Bookings
When you book, our booking system Bokun records your name, email, phone number and the details of your tour. We use them to run your booking, send confirmations and reach you if the weather changes plans. Booking records are kept as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes straight to them and never touches our systems. We only see that you have paid.
Forms and email
If you join the waiting list or email Ida, we keep what you send us for as long as the conversation and the season need it. Then it goes.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager, to see how the site is used. Pages, not people. You can block cookies in your browser and the site works just fine without them.
Who we share with
Webflow hosts this site, Bokun handles bookings, Stripe handles payments and Google provides analytics. They process data on our behalf, and nothing is ever sold or shared beyond that.
PRIVACY · YOUR RIGHTS
It stays your data.
See it, fix it, delete it
Email ida@huskytours.no and we will show you what we have about you, correct it or delete it. Normally within a few days.
Marketing
We do not send newsletters or marketing emails. You only hear from us about your own booking. If you opt in at checkout, we may also remind you about an unfinished booking.
Complaints
If you feel we have handled your data wrong, tell us first so we can fix it. You can also contact Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
