HOW IT GOES

Four simple parts.

Arrive & say hello

Come at least fifteen minutes early — enough time to say hi to every single dog, and to borrow warm jackets, boots or foot bags if you're missing anything. Free, of course.

Learn the sled

Your guide walks you through it before you set off — how to stand, how to brake, when to hold on. It's easier than it looks.

Run — 15 km

Fifteen kilometres, forest to plateau. You steer, they pull — and you swap drivers halfway if you feel like it.

The lavvu

Warm drinks, Norwegian bread twists and a good chat around the campfire, while the dogs collect their thank-yous.

What to wear

Wool underneath is what matters. Missing a warm jacket, foot bags or mittens? Borrow ours — free, just arrive a little early.

Who can come

Everyone, best from about 7 — younger children ride along free with an adult. Two per sled — one steers, one rides, swap halfway. Rather not steer at all? Ride with your partner, or with a guide if you're travelling alone.

We run in most weather. If we can't, you choose — new date or refund.

Getting here

Finnolkoia, 2610 Mesnali — two hours from Oslo, thirty minutes from Lillehammer. Weekend buses stop at Sjusjøen Skisenter, a 3 km walk from us: team up with fellow passengers, or call us if you're stuck and we'll try to find a solution.
